Access journals and databases
In your workplace (on a computer connected to the Region Stockholm network), you can access a large number of licensed journals, e-books and databases directly without needing to log in. With our proxy you can access virtually the same resources on your home computer, or other computer/tablet/mobile device not connected to the Region's network. Log in to biblioteken.sll.se
How do I apply for proxy?
Fill in the form proxy application. We will process your application and return within two business days. Only employees of Danderyds sjukhus, Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset, Södersjukhuset and care units with a contract for library service can apply for our proxy.
How do I use PubMed and other databases outside the Region's network?
- Go to the list of databases on a computer/tablet/mobile device outside the Region's network, and select PubMed, or some other database
- Log in to our Library proxy if you are presented with a login box
How do I read journals outside the Region's network?
Go to biblioteken.sll.se/tidskrifter (BrowZine) at a computer/tablet/mobile device outside the Region's network, and search for a journal. Log in to our Library proxy if you are presented with a login box. You can also use our "old" Journals A-Z list Publication Finder (Ebsco A-Z).
How do I read e-books outside the Region's network?
- Select e-book at a computer/tablet/mobile device outside the Region's network.
- Log in to our Library proxy if you are greeted by a login box.
Which electronic resources can I access?
All healthcare staff within Swedish Regions (including private units with health care agreement with the Regions) have access to a range of journals through the library consortium Eira. Employees of Danderyds sjukhus, Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset and Södersjukhuset and care units in Stockholm with a contract for library services have access to an expanded range of journals and other electronic resources.
I forgot my proxy password - what do I do?
Reset your password here. A link to reset the password is sent to the email address you used to register your proxy account. You should receive the email within a few minutes.
If you want to change other information, such as you contact email address, please register a new application at biblioteken.sll.se/ansokan
